a residency in performance creation

Picture
In collaboration with Plymouth State University, the Theatre Boreal Institute focuses on artistic collaboration, theatre education and ensemble creation. Together, we will build original theatrical productions centered on community.  The Institute strives to instill a sense of creativity, community engagement and professional training in the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire.  The inaugural session of the institute will take place:

June 17-22, 2013
Plymouth State University's
Silver Center for the Arts
Plymouth, NH

This week-long intensive will expose students to master classes on various performance and pedagogical techniques taught by professionals from New England. In the afternoons and evenings, students will put those new practices to work in rehearsal of an original performance.  The final phase of the institute will allow the students to perform their original work for the community.  Recommended for theatre educators, professionals and pre-professionals (18 years and older).

Undergraduate, graduate and CEU credits are available.
